Kaneohe murder-suicide suspect had lengthy criminal history

The man accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend and then leaping to his death off the H-3 freeway Saturday was a convicted felon who had a history of domestic violence, KHON2 News reports. Friends have identified the man as 26-year-old Michael Thomas Jr. who had 18 previous convictions.
