Info briefing for Mokuhano Cluster Development project in Kalama Valley set

HAWAII KAI—A community informational briefing has been scheduled by the Office of Rep. Gene Ward for Wednesday, October 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Kamiloiki Elementary School, 7788 Hawaii Kai Dr.

The briefing will update the community on the Mokuhano Cluster Development project in Kalama Valley. Ward sent a request to the City and County of Honolulu to allow for neighborhood board and community input during the permitting and review process of cluster housing projects.

Last month, the City’s Department of Planning and Permitting approved a cluster housing permit for 26 homes on a strip of land once reserved for an extension of Hawaii Kai Drive.
