California punkers Preachers That Lie storm Honolulu on Saturday

PTL (Preachers That Lie) is a punk rock band from San Jose, California, who will be having a busy Saturday night in Honolulu. First, they open for seminal punk icon Dead Kennedys at an early 6:00 p.m. show at The Loft in Chinatown. Also on The Loft bill are Substitoots and Socially F*cked.

Following the show at The Loft, Preachers That Lie will headline a show at Anna O’Brien’s (formerly Anna Bannana’s). Also on the Anna’s bill will be The Substitoots, Dicks of Doom, and Sketchy. PTL member Dean Carrico is a former Arts & Entertainment Editor at the Honolulu Weekly, and he is a bartender at the Irish Rose Saloon in Waikiki. So say “hi.”
