Hundreds of box jellyfish wash up onto Oahu’s south shore beaches

Hundreds of jellyfish washed up onto Oahu’s south shore beaches on Tuesday, City officials said, with some of the biggest concentrations in Waikiki, where jellyfish stung at least 33 people by the early afternoon. Another 300 jellyfish were found at Ala Moana Beach Park. Jellyfish also turned up at Hanauma Bay, city officials reported. However, Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesdays. KITV4 reports.
