Final UH divestment vote tomorrow
The full UH Board of Regents will vote on divesting from fossil fuels tomorrow.
The final vote to decide whether the University of Hawaii will divest from the fossil fuel industry will take place tomorrow, Thursday, May 21, at 9:15 am, at the Manoa IT Building, Conference Room 105A/B (2520 Correa Road, near Campus Center)
A “Yes” vote would make the UH System, with 53,000 total students, the largest university in the world to divest so far.
Note: The actual vote will be after 15 other agenda items.
