Waialua Little League update: Fall training and development coming up

Waialua Little League’s Majors All-Star team earned fourth place in the District Tournament, while the Minors All-Stars earned third place in theirs.

Parents and volunteers are invited to the league’s 2010 General Membership Meeting at 7:00 p.m. tonight, September 17, at Puuiki Beach Park in Waialua. The meeting agenda includes electing the 2011 Board of Directors, a presentation of a financial report, and goals for the upcoming season.

Fall training and development for boys and girls ages seven through 12 are invited to participate in Waialua Little League’s Fall Training and Development (TAD) program.

TAD will take place Monday afternoons from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, September 20. A tournament is planned to take place in November after seven weeks of practice. Registration for TAD can be done at Puuiki Park and is $15, covering the cost of new baseball caps for the players.
