Pho Vietnam opening marks third pho restaurant in Kapolei

The thin white rice noodle in a beef broth, what we call “pho,” is all the craze now, with young and old eating the traditional Vietnamese dish. Kapolei is doing its part in bringing the post hang-over bowl of goodness to the people. Pho Vietnam is now open at 777 Kamokila Blvd. making them the third Vietnamese cuisine restaurant in the Kapolei community.

According to Pacific Business News, Thomas Ky owner of the building said he is helping his cousin and tenant, Sylvia Ngo, with the new restaurant. Ky owns the space that once was occupied by a Chinese restaurant and then by an eatery that specialized in Japanese cuisine.

Ky has had plenty restaurant experience opening Assaggio Italian Restaurant in Kailua in 1989, which now has locations in Mililani, Kapolei, Hawaii Kai, Ala Moana, and Kahala.
