Kaimuki High School seniors get Earth-conscious at Eco Fair this weekend

KAIMUKI—Kaimuki High School will be hosting an Eco-Fair on Sunday, November 7, from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. Senior Brianna Ige decided to organize the event for her senior project, which will feature “vendors” such as University of Hawaii students doing Earth-conscious activities including gardening, worm composting, and aquaponics. 

Organizations like Blue Planet, Surfrider Foundation, Board Of Water Supply, and the School Of Ocean And Earth Science Technology at UH Manoa along with UH’s Environmental Center will be present. The event also features a bake sale, games for children, and t-shirts made by fellow senior Desiree Jale for her senior project.
