Waialua Community Association holding annual general meeting tonight

The Waialua Community Association (WCA) will be conducting its annual general meeting on Wednesday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic Haleiwa Gym across from the Haleiwa Post Office.

Revisions to the existing by-laws will be presented for approval. All dues-paying members as of 12/31/10 will be eligible to vote.

Established in 1934, the WCA is one of the oldest community associations in Hawaii. It serves the entire North Shore community with educational, and recreational programs and is a gathering place where children, teens, and seniors are, according to the website, encouraged to engage in “meaningful social activities that stimulate and support individuals and community.”

The public is invited to attend.
