Jon Letman interviewed Iranian-American writer Hooman Majd about his new book The Ayatollahs’ Democracy for the Christian Science Monitor. Born in Tehran to the son of a career diplomat, Majd is the grandson of a prominent ayatollah. Majd has written extensively on Iranian politics and society.
