Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill closed for four days

HONOLULU—The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Environmental Services (ENV) will temporarily discontinue access to the Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill to the public from Sunday, December 26 through Wednesday, December 29.

Commercial and City trucks will still be accepted at the landfill, and the public is allowed to drop off their waste to any City Convenience Center.

Depending upon the weather, public restriction to the landfill may be extended beyond Wednesday, December 29.
