Wahine anglers raise funds for Family Support Services of West Hawaii

KONA—The fifteenth annual Huggo’s Wahine Tournament will be held Saturday the 31st of July in Kona on Hawaii Island.

The Huggo’s Wahine Billfish Tournament 2010 theme “Hollywood Divas & Legends” is a ladies only event, which is held annually as a fundraiser for non-profit community organizations. This year the Family Support Services of West Hawaii will benefit. In the past 15 years, over $97,000 has been donated to charity.

Seventy-five teams will compete for cash and prizes, and the majority of the marlins under the minimum weight caught will be released for points—the largest fish weighed over 300 pounds will determine the outcome.

Entry forms can be picked up at Huggo’s Restaurant, The Charter Desk, and Pacific Rim Fishing Supplies. Entry limit is the first 75 Teams paid in full. Mail entry forms no later than July 28 to:
