UH Manoa’s weekly teach-in series features ‘The Value of Hawaii’ authors
HONOLULU—At a time when new leaders will be elected, and new solutions need to be found, the 31 contributors to The Value of Hawaii by University of Hawaii Press will hold five noon-time panel discussions and “teach-ins” on the UH Manoa campus beginning Thursday, September 30, and continuing every Thursday in October.
The campus community and public are encouraged to bring their brown-bag lunches to meet and talk with a majority of the book’s contributors during this special noontime teach-in series at Kuykendall 410.
The series is sponsored by the Center for Biographical Research, the Hawaii Council for the Humanities, and the UH Manoa Chancellor’s Office.
