Three new members added to Honolulu mayor’s cabinet

HONOLULU—This week, Mayor Peter Carlisle announced three new members have joined his Cabinet: Deputy Managing Director Chrystn Eads, Emergency Services Deputy Director Mark Rigg, and Planning and Permitting Deputy Director Jiro Sumada.

Eads joined the City in 2006 as an executive assistant and previously worked in Washington, D.C. as a legislative assistant for U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye.

Rigg has worked for the City Emergency Medical Services Division for 28 years, starting as a paramedic and most recently as Emergency Medical Services Field Operations Supervisor.

Sumada previously served as deputy director of the Hawaii Department of Transportation, and as the Hawaii County deputy director of Public Works.
