The Social Media Club of Hawaii wants to recognize local accomplishments, online good deeds

Hawaii Independent Staff

The Social Media Club of Hawaii is hosting a free holiday networking event at Ka at Ward Center on Wednesday, December 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The free event is intended to acknowledge the social media achievements of individuals and organizations of Hawaii.

The Social Media Club of Hawaii is a global nonprofit professional association, dedicated to developing and sharing the best practices in the use of social media. The Hawaii chapter is one of over 50 worldwide.

Anyone can submit their accomplishment using the club’s web form. Members will be playing a slide show and live tweeting these mentions throughout the evening.

The Social Media Club of Hawaii wants to hear about your marketing campaigns using Twitter, about your CEO now on Facebook, about how you use online video, about your social media-based fund-rasing—all your good deeds are welcome. Submit your story and consider also donating a door prize, which will be raffled off throughout the evening via Twitter and Facebook, with links to donors and the winners.
