Calling all stand up paddle enthusiasts and watermen: In partnership with Soljah Productions, Primo Beer is proud to announce the Primo Stand Up Challenge on June 26, 2010.

Honoring an array of surf craft, the Stand Up Challenge consists of an open-ocean race beginning in Hawaii Kai and ending at the Elks Club in Honolulu. With divisions ranging from SUP, single/double/6-man outboard canoe, sailing canoe and paddleboard, the event will showcase a host of Hawaiian watermen plowing through the water on an impressive mix of craft.  As the fastest-growing sport in the world, the SUP division is sure to draw a number of heavy hitters and paddlers into the event.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Primo Stand Up Challenge will benefit the Malama Maunalua foundation.

Check in for the event begins at 8:00 a.m. at Hui Nalu. The race will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Cost per person: $20 early entry at www.soljah.com, $30 beach entry day of race.
