Hawaii Independent Staff

MILILANI—A forum to meet Mililani’s General Election candidates happens Wednesday, September 22 from 7:30 p.m. at Recreation Center III, 95-281 Kaloapau St.

The forum, moderated by Dan Boylan will provide Mililani voters an opportunity learn about and address General Election candidates—a total of 34 candidates in contested races for governor, lieutenant governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House First District, State legislative districts, City Council District 2, Board of Education, and Office of Hawaii Affairs trustee at-large positions.

The participating candidates will introduce themselves, present their platform, and participate in a community question and answer forum session.

There will also be a presentation about proposed amendments to the County Charter and State Constitution.

The forum is sponsored by Mililani/Waipio/Melemanu Neighborhood Board No. 25, Mililani Mauka/Launani Valley Neighborhood Board No. 35, and Mililani Town Association.
