Rediscover the Waimanalo Country Fair this weekend
WAIMANALO—“Rediscover the Waimanalo Country Fair” happens this weekend at Waimanalo Beach Park featuring entertainment, food, and island crafts.
The weekend features E.K. Fernandez rides and games, food booths, an open market with vendors selling Waimanalo products, services and crafts, a keiki malasada eating contest, and performances by local entertainers, hula halau, and student groups.
Bands performing at the fair include The Royal Hawaiian Band, Hi-Town, BET, Sunset Band, Jahmaka, Pomaikai, Ruff Demands, Men of War, Kawao, Guy Benson & Friends, One Drop, Touch of Gold, Aloha O Puuwailani Halau, 40/Over, 7 Simple Pieces, H-Trey, and Simplisity.
$18 wristbands are available through Ticketmaster to enjoy unlimited rides on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m., or Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ticketmaster locations at Walmart close at 9:00 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Wristbands will not be sold on the carnival grounds.
Rides at this year’s Waimanalo Country Fair include: Century Wheel, Crazy Plane, Dizzy Dragons, Fireball, Helicopter, Mini-Coaster, Pharaoh’s Fury, Scooter, Speedway, Super Sizzler, Super Slide, Traffic Jam, and Zipper.
