Rebel-held Libyan town bombed to rubble
Rebel forces in Libya have come under intense attack from tanks, warplanes, artillery and rockets for another day as pro-Gaddafi forces continue to pound key towns in the east and west, ABC News reported. One witness said parts of Zawiya, 50 kilometres west of the capital Tripoli had, been reduced to ruins after Libyan tanks and fighter jets unleashed a series of attacks on the rebel-held town.
