Radiation spreads after new blast and fire at nuclear plant

Large amounts of radiation leaked into the air after a third reactor at an atomic power plant exploded and a fourth caught fire Tuesday morning in Japan, deepening the country’s crisis in the wake of a huge earthquake and deadly tsumami, GlobalPost reported. Later Tuesday, the government said radiation levels had fallen again, somewhat quelling fears.
