Police recover stolen urn with man’s ashes to Date Street home

Last month, an urn reported stolen from a Hawaii Kai home was returned after widow Donna Glover made several calls through local media asking for her late husband’s ashes.

In another separate incident, the Date Street home of 87-year-old widow Yukiko Watanabe was burglarized on September 27. One of the items stolen was a bronze urn with her husband ashes. KITV4 News has the story on its safe return.
