Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines allowed to compete against Young Brothers in inter-island service

The Public Utilities Commission is allowing newcomer Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines to expand its service to the neighbor islands, KITV4 News reports. Young Brothers had been testifying in opposition, saying that Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines intended only to service the profitable routes, while Young Brothers would have to continue servicing the routes to Lanai and Molokai, which don’t make money.
