Organized labor still strong in Hawaii
The state of organized labor in Hawaii remains among the strongest in the US.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Hawaii’s union participation rate of 21.6 percent is bested only by Alaska (22.4 percent) and New York (23.2 percent).
