October 9: Hear from heroes at Hawaii Anti-Child Sex Trafficking Event
Three-hundred children disappear in Hawaii each month. One in three of these missing children will be propositioned for sexual favors within 24 hours. Many will end up enslaved in prostitution. If rescued, there is no place for the children to go to be rehabilitated for the trauma they’ve endured.
A local partnership in Hawaii is joining hands to establish a safe home where these young girls can be healed. Justice Project Hawaii is working with Courage To Be You, which has already established safe homes like on the continental United States and in Africa.
On Saturday, October 9, hear from courageous people who are already rescuing girls from prostitution in Waikiki, from the coordinators of the Hawaii partnership, and from the founder of Courage To Be You, Jenny Williamson.
