October 28: Community to gather for 16th Annual Men’s March Against Violence

The 16th Annual Men¹s March Against Violence happens on October 28. Taking a stand against domestic violence, this annual event features a short march and rally in support of non-violence. While men are asked to march, the entire community is welcome to march alongside them. The rally will feature several motivational speakers and an important opportunity for the community to speak out against domestic violence with one voice. This year¹s theme is “Our Community: Shared Responsibility.”

The event’s honorary chair is Police Chief Louis Kealoha. Sponsors include Catholic Charities Hawaii, Domestic Violence Action Center, Kapiolani Community College, Honolulu Community College, and PHOCUSED.
