North Shore Chamber of Commerce fundraises with ‘Bucks for Bricks’

Jade Eckardt

The North Shore Chamber of Commerce is selling special bricks that will be used to make a walkway from the parking lot to the front door of the Chamber’s new office. The proceeds from the brick sales will be used to pay off the renovation of the office, which was formerly home to the historic Mutual Telephone Company. Proceeds will also be used for building maintenance and for Chamber programs.

The bricks cost $100 each and are 4"x 8"x 2 ΒΌ. The Chamber is also offering miniature replicas of the original for $15 to be used as paperweights.

Corporate sponsors have the opportunity to buy four 8” x 8” bricks, which can include a company logo for $2500. There will only be 14 corporate sponsorships sold for the walkway. The four 8x8’s will be placed together to form a larger image.
