Netflix killed the Blockbuster star

Who could have imagined a world without Tower Record or Tower Video. These days, it’s hard enough to find a good music store. Now, try to imagine a world without Blockbuster. Like the betamax, a night out browsing movies on actual real life shelves to watch after greasy take-out food may be a thing of the past. The massive movie rental chain has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Hawaii’s Blockbusters are going to remain open while the company files for bankruptcy, Hawaii News Now reported.
