MoveOn rallies throughout Hawaii speak out against government corruption

Hawaii Independent Staff

On August 10, MoveOn is holding rallies across the nation to ask every member of Congress and political candidate: “Will you fight corporate corruption in Washington?”

MoveOn’s strategy is to put a public face to the Other 98% “Fight Washington Corruption” Pledge at the rallies to show politicians that they’re accountable to the people. In the weeks after the rally, MoveOn plans to engage politicians—at their campaign events, district offices, festivals, and marches.

Hawaii rallies on Tuesday, August 10 are set on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai:

Oahu—Ala Moana Blvd and Punchbowl St, 300 Ala Moana Blvd. at 12:00 p.m.
