Leading ladies: Kings of Spade, Taimane, Sex Puppets take over Nextdoor

It’s going to be a ladies night, of sorts, at Nextdoor’s Broadcast on Wednesday night, as all three bands on the bill feature females in leading roles.

Kings of Spade features Kasi Nunez and her blend of rock, soul, funk and hip hop. Sex Puppets and their psychedelic jazz-funk fusion are fronted by Makke Farley. Taimane is about as rock and roll as a female ukulele player can be. Nextdoor is offering $3 drinks all night.
