Nuuanu Neighborhood Board sees slight drop in property crime

The Nuuanu/Punchbowl Neighborhood Board met on Tuesday, October 19 at Pauoa Elementary with a quorum of 10 members present. Also present, among others, were representatives from the Honolulu Police Department, Honolulu Fire Department, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, and several elected City and State officials.

HFD reported responding to four structure fires, one vehicle fire, and 40 medical emergencies. HPD noted that the number of burglaries, motor vehicle collisions, and unauthorized entries into a motor vehicle all decreased from August to September. The Board of Water Supply reported that there were no water main breaks in the area in the month of September.
