October 28: Mercury Bar punks rock at Blue Card Boogie Down industry night

The Mercury Bar on Chaplain Lane will hold its first ever punk rock edition of its popular Blue Card Boogie Down Thursday, a night that sees bar and restaurant industry workers get in for free with their Liquor Commission cards.

On the bill are The Substitoots and Dicks of Doom, with DJs Sir Max-A-Lot and Jet Girl spinning between live music sets. Drink specials include PBR, Miller High Life, Agwa, and Jack Daniels. As Halloween madness approaches, The Mercury Bar offers up a way to warm up for it.
