Shimmy Showcase shakes it up with Middle Eastern dance in Waikiki

Local dancer and dance instructor Malia Delapenia presents the Shimmy Showcase, a revue of Middle Eastern music and dance, at the Banyan Tree Ballroom at the Hale Koa Hotel on Friday, November 5. The event will feature captivating performers of Egyptian, Oriental, and tribal dance from California, Colorado, and Hawaii, as well as dancers from the Belly Dancers in Paradise Dance Company.

Admission to the Shimmy Showcase will include a three-course meal and the two-hour dance show.
