Honolulu Rotarians invite residents and visitors to participate in Exercise at Sunrise, a fitness event to commemorate World Polio Day. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded Rotary International $255 million for the effort to eradicate polio, which will cause paralysis in over 10 million children in the next 40 years. The event takes place at 9:30 a.m. at 900 Fort Street Mall. It will include physical fitness exercising that is individually appropriate to participants. An End Polio Now image will appear on Aloha Tower beginning at 4:30 a.m.
