Hemmings says charges brought against his wife are attributed to his role as a senator

State Sen. Fred Hemmings, who represents the 25th District (from Lanikai to Waimanalo), says that his wife Lydia Hemmings was wrongfully charged with stealing from a nonprofit organization she had led. Sen.
