Snow falls inside the Hawaii Theatre as Tammy Montgomery and Jodi Parry Belknap’s children’s book about the North Pacific comes to life in the first of Hawaii Theatre Center’s 2010-2011 OHANA Series presentations.

Bringing books to stage, ‘?hi’a Productions’ Story Surfers program will visit the Hawaii Theatre on Tuesday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. with an adaptation of TiQri, The Little Snow Fox, a charming tale with an important lesson to learn: Be happy with who you are.

Suitable for pre-K through grade 3, life-sized puppets and a talented cast directed by Reiko Ho will delight young audiences with fascinating facts about protective natural camouflage and endangered wildlife in this interactive performance. A book-signing follows in the Hawaii Theatre’s Weyand Room.

A free Ice Bear mask project for kids can be downloaded at www.hawaiitheatre.com/education.htm.

Tickets are $10 general admission; $7 for students 18 and older; Hawaii Theatre Center members; seniors; and military, with ID; $5 for children/youth ages 4-17; and free for children under 4 years.
