The Haleiwa Farmers Market presents a healing arts festival this Sunday.

The festival celebration day brings healthy and green activities, cultural presentations, speakers, exhibitor booths, children’s programs, cooking demos, natural products, and healthy local organic food with special focus on a zero waste event.

Here’s a breakdown of the day’s events:

9:00 a.m.—Surf Into Yoga with pro surfer Rochelle Ballard, of www.SurfIntoYoga.com and North Shore Wellness Retreat.

9:30 a.m.—Healthy Farms, Healthy Communities, with Hector Valenzuela, Dr. Hector Valenzuela, Dept. Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences, UH Manoa, and the Hawaii Farmers Union.

10:00 a.m.—Medicine at Your Feet: Healing Plants of the Hawaiian Kingdom, with author and herbalist David Bruce Leonard.

10:30 a.m.—Hawaiian Laau Lomi Stick Massage, with Lomi Lomi practitioner Artemio from Molokai, learn innovative uses of lomi stick massage and reflexology.

11:00 a.m.—Lomilomi for Surfers and Paddlers, with Kumu Alva, Hawaiian Lomi anatomy, and techniques for prevention and rehabilitation of injuries for surfers and paddlers.

12:00 p.m.—AcuVeda, Uniting the Ancient Wisdom and Energy Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine with Alireza Rad L.Ac. and Dana Guggenheim L.Ac of AcuVeda Wellness and Herb Clinic.

1:00 p.m.—Crazy for Coconuts, healthy Hawaiian haupia coconut desserts and taste samplings with Dodi Rose of Dodi-Licous Sponsored by Down to Earth All Vegetarian.
