Guitar great Larry Carlton coming to Andrews Amphitheatre

Barb Forsyth

MANOA—Laze in the light of the harvest moon, soothed by the sway of palm fronds and Manoa Valley’s splendor, and thrill to the live licks of guitar great Larry Carlton, 18-time Grammy nominee, three-time Grammy winner and recipient of Guitar Player Magazine‘s Lifetime Achievement Award.

It’s a “Lucky We Live Hawaii” opportunity fused with world renowned artistry from University of Hawaii Presents as the Manoa Jazz & Heritage Festival at Andrews Amphitheatre features Larry Carlton and the Larry Carlton Trio.

Also performing are Robert Shinoda and Friends featuring L.A. guitarist Jeff Richman (Robert Shinoda and Vernon Sakata on guitar, Noel Okimoto on drums, and Bruce Hamada Jr. on bass) and the Punahou Jazz Band.
