HONOLULU—The City and County of Honolulu’s Commercial Drivers Licensing (CDL) office at 99-501 Salt Lake Boulevard near Aloha Stadium will be closed on Thursday, September 2 due to the University of Hawaii football game. The parking lot used by the CDL office for its driver license activities will be used instead for event parking.

Due to the employee furlough day on Friday, September 3 and the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 6, the CDL office will remain closed and will not reopen until Tuesday, September 7. The City has advised commercial drivers and motorcycle riders to renew permits or licenses prior to the temporary closure.
