August 11: Pride At Work envelope-stuffing party to send surveys to primary election candidates
Pride At Work Hawaii’s legislative action committee will host an envelope-stuffing, pizza party on Wednesday, August 11 from 5:30 p.m. at Local 5 to send primary election issue surveys to all candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, State House, and State Senate. The surveys will ask candidates’ positions on LGBT and workers rights, affordable housing, women’s reproductive rights, maintaining government services, health care, and more.
Pride At Work Hawaii will then share the results via email, their website, and through the local LGBT rights network.
