April 8: Legislative forum advocates for benefits of ‘historic preservation’

What: Leaders within Hawai’i's tourism and economic industries will participate in a public forum, organized by the State Legislature’s Heritage Caucus 2010. The forum, which will include Founder of Philpotts & Associates, Inc. Mary Philpotts McGrath and Executive Director of Enterprise Honolulu Pono Shim, will feature in-depth conversations advocating for the benefits of historic preservation. The panel will also discuss heritage tourism as an economic opportunity and means to preserve historic places around the State.
