Ala Moana Blvd. roadwork to begin

The City’s Department of Environmental Services has announced that starting Monday, April 11, 2011, a City contractor will begin work to rehabilitate sewer lines along Ala Moana Boulevard between Keawe Street and Ward Avenue.

Motorists are advised to stay alert for police officers guiding traffic, lane restrictions and detours approaching the construction area. In addition, drivers should be aware of changing traffic patterns, slow moving construction vehicles and construction personnel.  Additional work may be required beyond normal workday hours.
