Hundreds to march in Mililani and Waialua High homecoming parades

MILILANI—Mililani High School and Waialua High School will both be holding their homecoming parades this weekend. Hundreds are expected march along with bands and floats.


Mililani High School homecoming parade

On Friday, September 24, the Mililani High School homecoming parade will be begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. Sponsored by Mililani High, the event is expected to have over 800 marchers, five vehicles, four floats, and one band. The parade will begin at Town Center of Mililani Parking Lot between KFC-Taco Bell, head to Makaimoimo Street, to Meheula Parkway, to Hookelewaa Street, to Kipapa Drive, to Kuahelani Avenue, to Moenamanu Street, to Kipapa Drive, and end at MHS Stadium.

Waialua High School homecoming parade

Waialua High School will also be holding their homecoming parade on Friday, September 24. The parade will begin at 2:45 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Sponsored by Waialua High School, the event is expected to have 500 marchers, 15 vehicles, six floats, and two bands. Vehicles will start at WHS parking lot then head to Farrington Highway, to Kaukonahua Road, through Haleiwa town, to Haleiwa Beach Road, and to Wailua Beach Road. Marchers will then join the vehicles at the Waialua Recreation Center and proceed together, to Goodale Avenue, to Farrington Highway, and end at the WHS gym.
