7.2 earthquake strikes 215 miles off Guam coast, ‘nothing was felt’ on land

A magnitude 7.2 earthquake has struck about 200 miles off the southern coast of Guam. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii says there is no widespread tsunami predicted from the shallow quake that occurred Saturday morning. Brandon Aydlett, a forecaster at the National Weather Service’s office in Guam, told Associated Press that nothing was felt in the U.S. island territory.
