3,400 delinquent refuse accounts in Maui County face closure

MAUI—The County of Maui Solid Waste Division is reminding all residential customers who are delinquent in their semi-annual refuse payments to submit payment by February 7. Any account that is not paid in full by this date will be closed. Payments were due by December 31, 2010. 

As of January 18, there are approximately 3,400 delinquent accounts. Delinquent notices were sent out today.

Payments can be made by dropping it off at the Refuse and Landfill Accounts office located at One Main Plaza, Suite 200.
