September 26: 2010 Spirit in Action paina and fundraiser takes AFSC back to its roots

The American Friends Service Committee’s Hawaii Area Program invites the community to its 2010 Spirit in Action paina and fundraiser on Sunday, September 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Honolulu Friends Meeting House, 2426 Oahu Ave.

The fundraising event will feature food by Slow Food KCC and live music by Kahuli.

Parking will be available on the street and at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (free on Sundays). There will be a free shuttle service between the Meeting House and UH from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Suggested donation is $15 to $50 per plate. Tickets are available in advance through September 15 at the AFSC office, or call (808) 988-6266 for reservations.
