Casting call for ‘I Hate Hamlet’ at Diamond Head Theatre

Diamond Head Theatre (DHT) will be holding auditions for I Hate Hamlet, a comedy by Paul Rudnick. The show is scheduled to run from January 28 to February 13, 2011.

I Hate Hamlet revolves around a discontented TV actor named Andrew Rally who is visited by another tutelary spirit—the ghost of John Barrymore.

Auditions for the play will be held in the DHT Rehearsal Hall at 520 Makapuu Avenue on Friday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script.

Perusal scripts are available at the DHT Box Office, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Scripts must be read on-site. The cast of characters and additional information are available on the DHT website.
