WAIKIKI—The Waikiki Aquarium will host Rock the Tanks, a benefit concert for the Friends of Waikiki Aquarium (FOWA), on Tuesday, November 16 at the Hard Rock Cafe. The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature a silent auction, raffle prizes, and live entertainment by Slack-Key Guitarist Makana.

In addition to live entertainment, guests can enjoy the opportunity to bid on three silent auction items, including a 6’4” quad fish ULTRAFLX Surftech surfboard by Randy French donated by Quiksilver and Waikiki Beach Walk, a five-strand 46” lariat necklace of freshwater pearls, quartz crystal, and mother of pearl from LuCoral Jewelry, and a koa concert ukulele from KoAloha.

“Rock the Tanks is a great opportunity to come out and enjoy local entertainment at the Hard Rock Café and of course, support a great cause,” said Waikiki Aquarium Director Andrew Rossiter, Ph.D.

The event takes place at Hard Rock Café’s original location, 1837 Kapiolani Blvd. A $5 entry donation is suggested. All proceeds will go toward the Friends of Waikiki Aquarium. For more information, visit www.waquarium.org.
