Bobby Sox, wall art, and living treasures on the Wahiawa Neighborhood Board agenda

The Wahiawa-Whitmore Village Neighborhood Board will be holding their regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 15 at the Wahiawa Recreation Center. On the agenda for November’s meeting is a recognition ceremony for the Wahiawa Bobby Sox champions, retired State Senator Robert Bunda, and Wahiawa’s “living treasures” Fred Sohl and Patty Dukes.

As usual, the monthly reports from the Honolulu Fire Department, Honolulu Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, the United States Army, and Navy as well as the Board of Water Supply will also be presented to attendees.

Presentations on the update status on Wahiawa Sewer Facility will be given by the Department of Environmental Services as well as a wall art project on Kilani Avenue by Wahiawa resident Reno Chap.

Board business on the agenda includes discussion on traffic lane improvements at Kamehameha Highway and California Avenue, as well as an update of the Central Oahu Sustainable Communities Plan.
