Wahiawa Lions Club 65th Annual Veterans Day Parade gets prepped to go in November

The Wahiawa Lions Club is sponsoring their 65th Annual Veterans Day Parade and Celebration on Tuesday, November 11.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m and booths will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The parade will begin at Kaala Elementary School and proceed up California Avenue to Fred Wright District Park. The booths, which will be available for $10, will be open for vending at the park where food, entertainment, crafts, and more can also be found.

The goal of the Lions Club is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. There are 45,000 different Lions Clubs and 1.35 million members, making it the world’s largest service club organization.
