Manoa, McCully, and Kuliouou Neighborhood Board meetings this week

The Manoa Neighborhood Board 7, Moiliili/McCully Neighborhood Board 8, and Kuliouou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board 2 are all be meeting this week. The public is invited and encouraged to attend and to learn about and discuss community concerns.

The Manoa and Kuliouou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Boards will both feature presentations on Hawaii Children’s First, the proposal to switch to a governor-appointed school board. Manoa will also have a presentation from Hawaiian Alliance regarding the topic of foreclosures and how people can save their homes.  Kuliouou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board will be updated as to the Aina Haina Shopping Center renovations. Moiliili/McCully has a long list of housekeeping issues, including questions regarding bulkty item pickup. 

The Manoa Neighborhood Board meets on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at Noelani Elementary School Cafetorium, 2655 Woodlawn Drive. 

The Kuliouou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Boards meets Thursday, October 7, 7:00 p.m. at the Aina Haina Public Library, 4246 Kalanianaole Highway.

The Moiliili/McCully Neighborhood Board meets Thursday, October 7, 6:30 p.m Washington Middle School Cafeteria, 1633 S. King Street
